Le lendemain de la fin du circuit du Pacifique, il retrouve Abner — l'unique participant de ce circuit — à Zihuatanejo le Friday December 8, 2000 ; ils prennent la route le 10 et atteignent Puerto Escondido le December 19. Abner est revenu la saison suivante, ce qui a fait de lui le premier client fidèle de ¡El Tour, et il a signé le livre d'or d'eltour.itgo.com en 2001.
